I missed the good old blogging days (during early-to-mid 2000s), where it is easy to form blogging community, exchanging ideas and posting photos of one adventures on a daily or weekly basis.

Blog community in those days were tight, easy to find topic of interests and is very relevant. Now communities are either dying or engulfed by splogs. A lot of XML-RPC ping site has closed down or infested with pharmaceutical article which does not even make sense of its context, let alone a tight-knit blogging community...

hmmm, is this the age of social networking?
